Baptism
Baptism is not simply plain water. Instead it is water enclosed in God?s command and connected with God?s Word.
What then is this Word of God? Answer:
Where our Lord Christ says in Matthew 28[:19?*?], ?Go into all the world, teach all nations,
and baptize them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit.
What gifts or benefits does baptism grant?
It brings about forgiveness of sins, redeems from death and the devil, and gives eternal salvation to all who believe it,
as the words and promise of God declare.
What are these words and promise of God?
Where our Lord Christ says in Mark 16[:16?*], Whoever believes and is baptized will be saved,
but whoever does not believe will be damned.

Lord's Supper (The Sacrament of the Altar)
What is the Sacrament of the Altar?
It is the true body and blood of our Lord Jesus Christ under the bread and wine, instituted by
Christ himself for us Christians to eat and to drink.
Whoever, therefore, eats the bread or drinks the cup of the Lord in an unworthy manner will be guilty concerning the body and blood of the Lord.
(1 Co 11:27)"
Because we believe in the Bible, we trust the words warning of improperly taking the Lord's Supper. It is for this reason
we practice Closed Communion. This means the Lord's Supper is reserved for those whome we share the same beliefs and
