A Note From Pr. Hoffman
|
|
Thank you for taking a moment to look at our humble website. My name is Brandt Hoffman (Or "Pastor Hoffman" as
I am called here). Having the name Pastor in front of your name evokes a lot of thoughts and feelings in the
hearts and minds of a lot of people. I love the way they taught us to think about it in Seminary. They taught
us to see it as the role of a servant. I mean, sure you have to make leadership-type decisions all the time,
but only (God willing) for the purpose of serving Christ and His people.
When you look at Zion Lutheran Church, you see that this small but growing church is made up of a lot of really
neat and diverse people. We have people who do a variety of different things for a living, are of different
ethnic backgrounds, are from different parts of the country and even other countries. The neat part about all of
us worshipping here is we all have the most beautiful and foundational thing in common: Jesus Christ died and rose
again for each and every one of us. The Bible teaches us this and we all are blessed to believe everything this Holy Book
teaches.
If you find yourself in our little church one of these days, be sure to take a moment to say hello to me. Chances are, the way
I am always strolling around, I will find you first. I love to get to know new people and I take great pleasure in
sharing the faith of this church with you. I am always happy to set up a time where we can talk privately as well.
It is a wonderful faith God has given us, and I hope to share it with as many people as God will grace me with!
In His service and in yours,
--Pastor Hoffman
